Crime and retail crime in particular, seems to be increasingly prevalent and high;y reported by the media. Crime in convenience stores is a significant and costly problem. It is neither ‘petty’ or ‘low-level’ particularly for those faced with threats at a personal level or businesses forced to spend large sums to prevent problems.
